Freelance Fortune
Untold Secrets of Freelancing in the AI Era
About the book
Freelance Fortune is about independent work: how it functions, what it asks of the people who do it, and how it is changing as AI changes the work people are paid for.
It was years in the making. Earlier drafts of the manuscript stayed private. This is its first published edition.
Why I wrote it
I learned freelancing by doing it, for clients in other countries. The book sets down what that took, so the next person has less to learn the hard way.
The same experience, another form
The years that produced this book also produced WorkOfficially. One writes the lessons down; the other builds them into a platform.
